Ayanda Ncwane is a South African actress, businesswoman, and singer. She was born on the 12th of August, 1984 in Ndwedwe Mission outside Durban, South Africa.
Ayande was popular for being her late husband’s manager while he was alive. Her late husband, S’fiso Ncwane, was a famous gospel singer. Ayanda Ncwane is the CEO of Ncwane Communications, she is also the president of Africa Gospel Awards.
Early Life & Education
Ayanda Ncwane spent most of her childhood time with her grandmother as her parents weren’t always around, so she was mostly raised by her grandmother.
She has four siblings, one sister, and 3 brothers. One of her brothers, Phupho Gumede is a stylist who is quite active on social media.
Ayanda attended Nombika High School, Endwedwe.
Ayanda Ncwane’s career started while she was still a student. She was a contestant at the Miss Teen Durban and the Miss Teen South Africa contest.
In order to make ends meet, she worked as a waitress and also featured as an extra in “Isidingo” and “Generations”. Later on, she landed the role of the Shangane girl in the show, Mzansi. Her acting talents led her to her late husband, S’fiso Ncwane at the age of 18.
Ayanda is the founder of the Annual Gospel Stars Festival, she also created the Ayanda Ncwane Women’s Carnival, a carnival that serves as an avenue for dialogue among businesswomen in Durban.
In 2002, at the age of 18, she got married to S’fiso Ncwane, a gospel singer. They had two children (boys) together, Mawenza and Inkosana. On the 15th of December, 2016, S’fisso died due to kidney problems.
Ayanda wrote a book in honor of his memory titled “For The Love Of S’fiso Ncwane”.
