Adamu Garba II (born 6th of June, 1982) is a Nigerian politician, technopreneur, and businessman. He is the CEO of IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited and the founder of Crowwe, a social app that doubles as a messaging, savings, and payment platform.
Adamu Garba II was born on the 6th of June, 1982, at Luggere ward, Jimeta, Yola-North Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Nigeria.
His father, Alhaji Adamu Jauro Garba was a chief and an Islamic Scholar while his mother, Hajiya Hadiza Garba was a petty trader and also an Islamic scholar.
He attended Almajiri school until he was 8 years of age after which he joined a conventional school.
He had his primary education at Jambutu primary school and Luggere primary school. In 2001 he completed his secondary school education at Doubeli Secondary School. On completion of his Secondary school education, Adamu Garba enrolled at Kano State University to study Electrical Engineering but his schooling at Kano State University was cut short after he was expelled in his third year after a riot broke out.
In 2005, he enrolled into NIIT Kano for the continuation of his education. He studied Microsoft Systems and technology, attaining its MSCE certification.
At the age of 24, Adamu Garba II relocated to Apapa, Lagos State where he established IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited. IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited is a cloud computing company licensed and endorsed by Oxford – a United Kingdom-based Europe Business Assembly (EBA). IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited is headquartered in Lagos with Adamu Garba II as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He traversed several jobs in varying industries ranging from IT to oil and gas for 2 years before settling for creating his own IT firm based on the certification he had already acquired.
Adamu Garba is also the founder of Crowwe, a social app that doubles as a messaging, savings, and payment platform.
In February 2018, Garba declared his intention to run for President of Nigeria under the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was 35 years at the time and the youngest to declare in aspiration. He was relatively unknown until he announced his aspiration citing the need for youths to take over the realm of leadership and for the old politicians to retire as one of the reasons for him stepping up.
Adamu Garba II is married to Khadija Garba. Their marriage is blessed with three children Inna, Bapetel, and Dadaji
